Automatic Pool Covers (APC) Under-Track Stainless Steel Guide Feed for Small Channel Track (R or L). The guide feed has a threaded hole for the sensor. The guide feed on the end of the cover prevents the ropes from snagging and tearing the cover. Because they are made from stainless steel, they typically last forever. Other systems use plastic guide feeds that wear out quickly, causing the cover to come out of the guide and potentially sink to the bottom of the pool.
NOTE: It is recommended that guides be checked and if necessary replaced at the same time a new cover gets installed.
